Oh hey, I didn’t see you there. Just finishing up helping a couple of clients/friends close on their first home here in beautiful Grand Junction, Colorado. Cheesy bio intro aside, allow me to introduce myself. My name is Josh McGuire. I am a husband to a beautiful wife and a father to two amazing kids, and I am a Real Estate Broker that absolutely geeks out over three things:
- Real Estate.
- Helping others to be successful in reaching their goals.
- Real Estate.
In 2006, I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from CMU. For the next 13 years I worked as a Personal Trainer and a Fitness Director. Throughout that time, I focused my efforts on supporting clients/ friends building a thorough plan to clearly define and ultimately accomplish their personal health goals. I loved it and amassed amazing relationships and experiences while being a part of others’ success. I have brought the same goal-oriented mindset to the Real Estate industry. Being in the Real Estate industry had been a dream of mine since the age of 13. When my parents sold our first home and moved to Colorado, we had an amazing Realtor that led my family every step of the way through the process with class, professionalism, and genuine kindness. That Realtor was a wonderful person and still a family friend. She went the extra mile in every way and really helped our family through a transitional period of uncertainty, hope, nervousness and excitement. She was a true leader. In seeing one person’s ability to positively impact others at such an important time, I knew in that moment I wanted to eventually be able to do the same.
With an obsession in Real Estate and a background in personal training, I have a unique approach when it comes to helping my clients hit their goals in this ever-changing housing market. Before you ask, I promise it does not include pushups or burpees.
John Maxwell said, “A successful leader finds the right place for others.”
Ok, I admit he probably wasn’t speaking of physical home addresses when he said “the right place” but still, it works. I love doing what I do. Sometimes I have a hard time believing that I get to help my clients in their Real Estate needs in this beautiful area of our country. Within about an hour in any direction, we can Mountain Bike, ski/snowboard, camp, hike, boat, float the Colorado river, fish, Mountain Bike, explore the Colorado National Monument, as we as the Grand Mesa. Within 2 hours we can visit Vail, Aspen, Telluride, Ouray or even the Arches National Park outside of Moab. Oh yeah, and did I mention that you can Mountain Bike?
Buying or Selling a home is the biggest investment that most people will make throughout their lifetime. It should be treated as such. Every individual or family looking to buy or sell their home has their own unique story, interests, background, plans, goals and dreams. This is not a one size fits all experience. You probably already have a relatively clear, if not vividly clear, idea of what you are looking to do when it comes to your next move, and it is unique to you. Let’s build a plan together and make it happen.
If you are looking to buy or sell Real Estate, or you just have a couple of questions to identify if now is the right time for your next move, let’s chat. Advice is always free, and I would love to get to know you.
